VERY easy make: a great fast recipe! The only changes I made were to add 2 cloves of minced garlic and one cup of wine - instead of water - in step 3; and to add 1/2 cup of slivered almonds just before serving. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Nasseh!

This is super easy to make. I used a 8 ounce bag of Saffron Yellow Rice by Vigo. So I decided to make my rice as directed on the back of the package, using 2 cups of water. Since saffron is listed as the last ingredient on the rice I added a pinch more. The next time I make this I'll use Classic Saffron Rice instead of the pre mixed bagged rice. This is another grand dish from this Chef. I don't buy the boxed mixes so I started with Basmati rice and in place of saffron (which I don't have on hand) I used 2 tsp's of Nasseh's Ras El Hanout - Moroccan Spice Mix. It didn't take any longer to cook that the mix would have and the result was wonderful. The chicken breast I used was on the large size, that and 1/3 cup of rice gave me enough for 2 servings. Easy, quick and delicious, whats not to love!

For something so simple and easy you will wonder why you didn't come up with this recipe. That says it all....This is so tasty and quick to prepare that it should be on everyones make it list. It impressed DH who doesn't care for chicken. I did use "Vigo" brand of saffron yellow rice. This is a make again recipe. Thanks Nasseh for posting it.
