Turnips fresh from the garden, home-made yoghurt as hadn't got any sour cream - and a perfect recipe for them!! I tried a little as soon as I made it and I'm not waiting the 6 hours chill time before commenting, as it's already delicious!! Thank you so much!

I had to try this because I love turnips and I had some in my fridge. I have never had them raw!! They have a milder flavor raw than they do cooked!! I don't have a shredder for slaw so I used a peeler to make shredded pieces because turnips are a little tougher than cabbage would be. I just made a little batch and adjusted the ingredients to that. I loved it!! The dressing is a great combo of flavors especially with the turnip flavor in there. Now I have to go get something that will shred turnips so I can make more! Thank you for this recipe!
