The Easiest Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs (Technique)

There are many ways that work well such as add salt, use needle, add ice, etc., etc., etc. This method is also perfect, and the simplest we've found so far.

Ingredients

  • large egg
  • water
  • Directions

    1. 1
      Place eggs in medium saucepan. Cover with water 1" above the eggs. Place on stovetop over high heat.
    2. 2
      Bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat and cover. Let sit 20 minutes.
    3. 3
      Pour cold tap water into pot allowing the hot water out by holding the pot on a slant. Let eggs sit in cold water for 1-2 minutes, then peel easily.

    I tried this method and it worked perfectly. I have one of those special testers that you put in the water and that doesn't give as good of results! I will do this everytime from now on. thanks!
