Chicken W/Lemon-Caper Sauce

I got this recipe out of the Taste of Home magazine and had to share!!

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast half
  • dash salt and pepper
  • cup cold water, divided
  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • tablespoon butter-flavored sprinkles
  • tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 low-sodium chicken bouillon cube
  • tablespoon cornstarch
  • tablespoons caper, drained
  • teaspoon olive oil
  • Directions

      In a large skilled coated w/cooking spray cook and stir garlic over medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until browned.

      Add chicken.
    3. 3
      Sprinkle w/salt and pepper.
    4. 4
      Cook for 4-5 minues on each side or until juices run clear.

      Remove and keep warm.

      In a small bowl, combine 3/4 cup water, broth, butter-flavored sprinkles, lemon juice and bouillon.

      add to the skillet.

      Combine cornstarch and remaining water until smooth and gradually stir into skillet.

      Bring to a boil.

      Cook for 2 minutes or until sauce is thickened.

      Stir in capers and oil.

      Add chicken.

      Turn to coat.

      Serve chicken w/sauce.
