SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Stone the dates and cut them in halves.
  2. 2
    Put dates, ginger,red chilli, salt, chilli powder and vinegar in a pan and cook till dates are tender.

    Now add sugar and cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. 4
    While the chutney is hot pour into clean jars and cork tightly.
  5. 5
    Serve after 4 days.
