I got this recipe from my 2nd grade teacher who used to read us Winnie the Pooh. This would be easy for 2nd grade and up to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
  • 5 quarts pre popped popcorn

    • Directions

    1. 1
      Mix sugar, honey, water, butter and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil - DO NOT STIR. Boil the mixture about 10 minutes until a drop of it forms into a ball in a cup of cold water.

      Coat the bowl of popcorn with the syrup mixture and add popcorn until well mixed.

      Form into balls, sticky but scrumptious.
