Ingredients

  • 12 very fresh large mushroom, stems removed
  • 1/4 cup garlic oil
  • 1/4 cup pesto sauce

    • Directions

    1. 1
      Prepare a hot fire. In a medium bowl, toss mushrooms with oil to coat well.
    2. 2
      Place mushroom caps, stem side down, on an oiled grill set 4-6 inches from the coals.
    3. 3
      Grill until edges are lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.
    4. 4
      Turn and place 1 teaspoon pesto in the cavity of each mushroom cap.
    5. 5
      Continue grilling until bottoms of mushrooms are golden brown, about 3-5 minutes longer.
