Nellie & Joe's Key Lime Pie

This is off the back of the bottle of Nellie & Joe's Famous Key West lime juice. Good stuff!!

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch)  graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 egg yolk (whites not used)
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice (Nellie & Joe's, of course!)
  • Directions

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. 2
      Combine milk, egg yolks, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
    3. 3
      Pour filling into pie shell and bake for 15 minutes.
    4. 4
      Allow to stand 10 minutes before refrigerating.
    5. 5
      Just before serving, top with freshly whipped cream and garnish with lime slices.

    Yum! I like Key Lime pie and this was the first time I ever made it. I made it for Mother's Day and there's no more left. *When you fill the crust with the mixture, it sits low in the shell just like the photo. I used an electric mixer to blend. Thanks for posting.

    This is really good key lime pie! They used to sell Nellie & Joe's key lime juice at Trader Joe's but I haven't seen it there for a while. I found some at a specialty food and wine store. The pie is so easy to make and it has that great sweet, tart taste. I used fresh whipped cream too. Loved it! Thanks for the recipe!!
