Velveeta Cheese

Here's a recipe that will definately lower your grocery bill! Easy on the $$$$ and great taste too! It just don't get any easier than that! You can also add a drop or two of orange and/or yellow food coloring. Note: Cooking time is cooling time.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups very hot water, divided
  • 1/2 cup instant milk, plus
  • tablespoon instant milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin (1 1/2 tsp.)
  • Directions

      In blender, put 3/4 cup of the water, 3 tablespoons of the milk and 1/2 teaspoons of the gelatin, and whip until the gelatin is dissolved.

      Quickly add to the hot mixture 1/2 pound of the grated cheddar cheese.

      Whip until blended.

      Pour into an 8x4x2-inch-inch loaf pan that has been lined with plastic wrap.

      Repeat this twice, until all remaining ingredients have been used.

      Cover pan with more plastic wrap and chill overnight before unmolding.

      Keep cold and slice as needed.
