Warm Rum Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 cups nonfat milk
  • tablespoons rum
  • teaspoons margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Directions

      Mix sugar and cornstarch in small saucepan; stir in milk and rum.

      Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

      Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve warm.
