Slow Cooker / Crock Pot Jambalaya !

This is a great easy Cajun dish that you can make in your Crock Pot! This will serve 4 - 6.

Ingredients

  • cups diced boiled ham
  • medium onion, coarsley chopped
  • stalks celery, sliced
  • 1/2 green pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomato
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 3 garlic clove, minced
  • tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon leaves thyme
  • 2 whole cloves
  • tablespoons salad oil
  • cup raw converted long grain rice
  • lb shrimp, shelled & cleaned
  • Directions

    1. 1
      Thoroughly mix all ingredients in Crock Pot EXCEPT shrimp.
    2. 2
      Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
    3. 3
      One hour before serving, turn Crock Pot to high.
    4. 4
      Stir in uncooked shrimp.
    5. 5
      Cover and cook until shrimp are pink and tender.
    6. 6
      Serve and Enjoy!
