Cherry Cobbler Dessert

This was handed down from my Mother-in Law to my wife. We have enjoyed Cobbler for many years and hope you will too.

SERVES 9 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. 2
    Grease a 9" square Pan.
  3. 3
    Drain Cherries, Save juice.
  4. 4
    In a sauce pan over medium heat, combine sugar, salt & cornstarch, mix together.
  5. 5
    Slowly add the cherry juice.
  6. 6
    Cook, stirring constsntly, until clear & thickened.
  7. 7
    Remove from heat & add butter & almond extract.
  8. 8
    Mix Bisquik & milk to make dough.
  9. 9
    Place Cherries in sq. pan & spoon dough on top.
  10. 10
    Pour sauce over all.

    Bake for 25 minutes.
