This has been a staple at our Seders for over 50 years. We can't decide if we like it better right out of the oven or cold the next day!

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Soak matzahs until softened; squeeze well to get out most of the moisture.
  2. 2
    Peel and grate apples in a large bowl. Add matzahs and all other ingreidents.
  3. 3
    Pour into a greased 13x9 inch pan. sprinkle more cinnamon on top.

    Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until browned.

    May be served hot or cold.
