Hamburger Veggie Soup

Ingredients

• 1 lb hamburger, cooked
• 1 cup onion, chopped
• 1 cup potato, diced
• 1 cup carrot, diced
• 1 cup cabbage, cut up
• 1 cup celery, cut up
• 4 cups tomatoes, cut up (fresh, frozen or canned)
• 1/4 cup rice
• 3 cups water
• 4 teaspoons salt
• 1/4 teaspoon basil
• 1/4 teaspoon thyme
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 pinch paprika
• 1 pinch garlic powder
• 1 pinch black pepper
• 1 pinch onion powder
• 1 pinch cayenne pepper
• 1 pinch dried oregano
• 1 pinch dried thyme

   Brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Combine all ingredients less the rice in a stock pot. Simmer for 2 hours. Add rice and simmer another hour.
