Banana & Onion Sauce

In Africa we serve this on top of "mieliepap" - just as delicious atop mash, rice, or cold meats.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Saute the onion in melted butter until translucent.
  2. 2
    Add boiling water and allow to simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. 3
    Mix together the dry ingredients and vinegar and add to simmering onion mix.
  4. 4
    Simmer for anoher 3 minutes and allow to cool.
  5. 5
    Add bananas just before serving.
