Salmon is such a tasty and healthy fish as it is packed with Omega 3. Here is a healthy and different way of preparing salmon that I found on the BBC Good Food Magazine website.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. 2
Whiz the bread into crumbs in a food processor.

  4. 4
Put the salmon in one layer in a lightly oiled baking dish.
  5. 5
Press the crumbs on to the flesh.
  6. 6
    Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Great Salmon! Know just how much flavor horseradish adds to sauces but had never tried it on salmon - what an easy way to bring great salmon to the table. I served this with Evelyn's Caesar Coleslaw. Be making that combination again. Thank you Sarah.

Surprised to see this recipe because I found it in a European newspaper this winter. It is an excellent simple way to prepare salmon and more horseradish can be added to taste. Thanks for putting it in print.

The horseradish and bread crumbs form a really nice crust on the salmon. The flavour is quite subtle. I would have liked a bit more horseradish sauce, but DH loved it as is. Quick, simple and healthy! Thanks Sarah Jayne! Made for PAC Spring 2008.
