This recipe went together so easily & had a very nice tasting sauce! I did cut back on the water (using just 4 tablespoons at first) since I wanted it to thicken up nicely! Then, just before it was done I added almost another tablespoon, but that was it! It was great, & I served it with some purchased egg rolls (Will have to make my own next time!) for a group I host each month! Thanks for sharing the recipe! this was a very good and very different sweet and sour! the lemony flavor was interesting, but i found it a bit too lemony for a sweet and sour sauce. and i think the directions werent specific enough. i wasn't sure when to add the catsup so i added it after step 1. also i wasnt sure how long it took the sauce to thicken. i left it simmering for 15 mins or so and it didnt get the thickness of a sweet and sour sauce. But overall very fun new take on sweet and sour sauce!
