Fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich
SERVES 1 , 1 sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 slices bread
- butter
- peanut butter
- jelly
Directions

Make a traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich.2
Spread butter on one side.3
Melt 1 teaspoon butter in small frying pan.4
Put unbuttered side in pan.5
Continue as if making a grilled cheese sandwich.

YUM!! I was skeptical because I love pb&j just the way it is, it turned out to be so good I can definitly see my son and I having this for lunch every now and then. Thank you for sharing this!

I first read this and thought it sounded yummy and crazy all at the same time. I told my husband and he told me that it sounded gross. Well low and behold I tried it; and loved it. I sneaked my husand a bite and he loved it as well. It was a great meal to kill the sweet tooth I had. I absolutely loved it! Once I have children I will def. treat them to this.

The melting peanut butter, warm jelly, and dripping butter only needed one more thing in our house: a dusting of powdered sugar! Yum!

First of all, i have to mention that i get "The Look" every time i say "fried PB&J". You know the one i'm talking about! But, after trying it for breakfast myself, i made it for my husband and son. They both loved it, and in fact my husband was just telling some friends of ours about his new "favorite" sandwich! LOL Thanks a bunch for sharing this recipe, it's a regular treat, breakfast, or lunch in our house now!
