I love salmon and this is a sauce with some great ingredients, like honey, soy sauce and pineapple juice. Gleaned from CDkitchen.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Sauce:.
  2. 2
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Stir occasionally until sauce begins to boil, then lower heat to simmer and cook uncovered for 15 minutes or until syrupy. Watch the sauce closely to be sure it doesn't bubble over.
  3. 3
Preheat barbecue grill to medium heat, or turn on broiler. Rub each salmon filet with olive oil, then lightly sprinkle salt and pepper over top.
  4. 4
Grill(or broil) the salmon for 4-7 minutes per side or until done.
  5. 5
Serve salmon with a small cup of the honey pepper sauce on the side. Enjoy!

I cooked the salmon fillet in the oven. And I poured the sauce on my part. So yummy! Thanks Sharon Made for Newest Zaar tag. (Sorry for the bad photo, I have to buy small cup LOL)

I've totally surprised myself! I actually liked this fairly well. I normally don't care for seafood so my husband only gets seafood or fish upon the very rare occasion when we go out to a seafood restaurant. I went outside my comfort zone and decided to try fixing some kind of fish or seafood and found this recipe. It was fairly easy to make and the sauce was a nice complement to the salmon.
