Winter Mango Smoothie

A WARM smoothie? You'll be an instant beleiver- when I want a smoothie but don't want to get chilled, this is the one I make. Be sure your fruit is nice and ripe. Taste incroyable.

SERVES 1 -2 , 1 large mugful (change servings and units)

    Combine the mango, banana and juice in a small pot. Bring to a simmer over medium for a few minutes, till it's bubbly and well heated through.

    Transfer to a food processor and blend until it's still just slightly chunky.
  3. 3
    Pour into a big mug and ENJOY your trip to Jamaica!

I made this COLD because it was hot outside! It's great that way too. This was different for me as I usually use orange juice. Thanks!

    Great idea! I did use frozen mango, and it was delicious! However, I will now wait impatiently for nice, fresh, ripe ones to hit the market, then I'll make this again, & with homemade apple juice! As I said, a great idea that I'll use again!
