Traditional Russian zakuski recipe.

    Wash green onions and cut across in small pieces. Chop the eggs into small pieces and mix with green onions.

    Mix the sour cream and mayonaisse throughly, season to taste, and pour over onion and egg mixture.

    Serve cold.

    Delicious! One of those simple recipes where the sum is greater than the total of its parts. Served this with slices of black bread and other salads.

    Best ever egg salad. DH and I had this for lunch. So creamy yet not runny and very easy to make. This is a keeper. Thanks for sharing.

    One of those why didn't I think of that recipes. I made this for my hubby's birthday bbq. I used 1 bunch of green onions so I'm not sure about the weight. I also used homemade mayonnaise. The recipe is so easy and something different for a bbq. Thanks for a great recipe. Made for spring 2008 PAC
