Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Coat your grill or a grill pan with cooking spray and preheat over medium heat. While the grill is heating, combine the brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Brush each salmon fillet with 1/2 teaspoon of the oil, then rub each fillet with about 1/2 tablespoon of the spice mixture.
  2. 2
Grill the salmon, flesh side down, until charred, 4 to 5 minutes. Flip the salmon and cook another 5 to 6 minutes for medium doneness. For well done fish, cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove to a platter and serve immediately.

This is so easy and so delicious. We made this and Savory Steak Seasoning (for all types of meat) last night for a wonderful barbecue loved by all my family. We followed ingredients per recipe except we ran out of olive oil and had to use canola oil. Made for ZWT4 for the Cookin Cats.

This is 5 stars all the way! So simple, so good! I accidentally grabbed my 1/4 teaspoon measure, so my salt & pepper were doubled, but . . . it tasted great! Declicious! I will definitely make this again. I'm thinking this might also taste great on chicken. I'll let you know! Thanks for posting, Cookiedog! Made as part of ZWT4.

I omitted the salt and pepper. I loved that it was so easy. And it was so tasty. I didn't cook it on the bbq. The oven was already hot so I put it 5 minutes at 350 F. And then near 5 minutes under the broil. The salmon was tender. Thanks Cookiedog. Made for the Babes of ZWT4
