Ham Casserole

Ingredients

• 16 slices bread
• 1/2 cup butter (or more)
• 8 ham slices
• 2 cups cheddar cheese
• 6 eggs
• 3 cups milk
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1 cup crushed corn flakes
• 1/2 cup melted butter

Directions

   Trim crusts from the bread.

   Grease a 9 x 13 pan.

   Butter 8 slices bread.

   Place buttered side up in pan.

   Place ham slices on bread.

   Top with shredded cheese.

   Butter other 8 slices bread.

   Put in pan butter side up.

   Beat eggs with milk, salt, and dry mustard.

    Pour over the bread and ham slices.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Before baking, add crushed cornflakes to the top.

    Pour the melted butter on top.

    Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
