Crock Pot Chicken Pasta With Smoked Gouda

Another quick and easy chicken dish for your crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders, boneless
  • small zucchini, halved and sliced 1/8-inch thick
  • ounce chicken gravy mix
  • tablespoons water
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • pinch ground nutmeg, fresh if possible
  • ounces smoked gouda cheese, grated
  • tablespoons evaporated milk (or light cream)
  • large tomato, chopped
  • cups cooked macaroni (or you may use small shell pasta)
  • Directions

    1. 1
      Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes; place in crockpot.
    2. 2
      Add zucchini, gravy mix, water, and seasoning.
    3. 3
      Cover and cook for 5 to 6 hours on low.
    4. 4
      Add smoked gouda cheese, milk or cream, and chopped tomato to the crockpot during the last 20 minutes, or while the macaroni is cooking.

      Prepare macaroni/pasta according to package directions.

      Stir in hot cooked macaroni.
