This is a combo my 2 1/2 year old DD came up with. I let her choose what she wanted in the smoothie and just threw it all together. She's a pretty good cook for a 2 1/2 year old, it turned out well. The addition of spinach leaves was my input merely for extra nutrition, these are optional.

Hats off to your aspiring young chef, Mandy! She knows what she's doing! I found this combination very refreshing and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I didn't peel the nectarine and added a tablespoon of milled flax seed for extra fiber. Also used FF vanilla yogurt. No trace of the spinach showed in this deep purple healthy treat. Thanks Mandy and DD!

amazing! i actually added kale instead of spinach and it still tasted great!! the only thing was it had a slightly green cast to the purple so i dont know if i could get away with giving it to my sister or anything...

Good and kind of tart, but I used plain yogurt. I also used more juice, probably almost a cup so my blender could blend. I might add a banana next time to sweeten it a little. Reviewed for ZWT4.

This was great! Loved how the berries and nectarine tasted together and the spinach addition...nice move! Can't even taste it. I did add a bit of honey to the mix! Made this for photo tag....Thanks for sharing!
