Korean Hamburgers

Recipe #28549 | 17 min | 2 min prep | SERVES 4 (Change Servings)

RECIPE BY: wildheart

Yes, it is one TABLESPOON of minced garlic! These are absolutely wonderful. Serve on a bun with teriyaki sauce..... -------------- If freezing in advance, you might want to lessen the garlic just a little as the flavor intensifies. Unless you're like me and LOVE the taste!

Fan-flippin'-tastic burgers! Always looking for tasty burgers and this one was a nice suprise. Took all of 5 minutes to prepare and I loved that I normally have all the items on hand at home anyways. I did have to deduct a bit because I had to add a couple tbs of breadcrumbs just to get them to hold together, but still fantastic. Cut down to 3 tbs lite soy and were plenty salty enough. The texture of the sesame seeds was a little different, so next time I may just add a few drops of sesame oil in place of a bit of veg oil. I didn't need anything except on a bun on these burgers and really enjoyed the flavor--would serve to any guests! Thanks!

Made these yesterday. THey were excellent. I made enough to put some in the freezer. I did use a mix of ground beef, ground turkey, and tvp, which I do for all my burger recipes that I try.

Awesome. Being asian, this was a treat. I serve the meat by itself with a side of cold, crisp veggies. If you use a pan (instead of grilling), the glaze makes a great sauce...just add some water and a little flour. Thanks.

This has some serious flavor. Very very good flavor. I invited a few friends over to try this on, and they LOVED it. I make a deal where they have to give an honest crital 1-5 star review, and everyone agreed on a "4 and 3/4 star" review. I bumped it to 5 because it was easy to make!
