wanted to post a recipe for a green salad because when I create a shopping list to take to the store sometimes this is the stuff I forget to pick up!

SERVES 4 -6 , 1 large salad (change servings and units)

    rinse lettuce and dry. chop into bite size pieces, put into large serving bowl. chop tomato, peel and chop cucmber into bite size pieces. toss together. top with sunflowers seeds and croutons. serve with meals topped with your favorite dressing.

    I make a very similar salad like this all the time, I don't add the sunflower seeds and croutons. We call the salad, a plate filler and it's a healthy choice for our dinners. We enjoyed the extra flavours of your recipe with the added sunflower seeds and croutons. I made the croutons from scratch using Homemade Croutons and used Simple and Delicious Lemon/Lime Garlic Salad Dressing. Thank you upsgirl88 for posting your recipe.
