Awesome Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 cup quick oat
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

   Preheat oven to 350°F.

   In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until creamy and well mixed. Add sugars and beat until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, and soda. Mix well and then add to wet mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

   Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and press down slightly with floured fork.

   Bake for 12 minutes or until turning golden around edges. Remove and let cool on cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes to firm up.

   Remove to baking rack and let cool completely before storing (or eat a lot of them while warm!).
