My grandmother collected recipes from around the world in a time when international cuisine was not very fashionable. This dish is very Czech.

    Peel and grate raw potatoes. Squeeze dry.

    Add other ingredients and mix well.

    Make round balls about 1 inch in diameter and cook 15 min in boiling salted water.

    Serve with hot meats and more sauerkraut.
