Here yee, here yee! Come one ~ come all! This is a gloriously, crunchy, tidbit of goodness right down to the little tails. Mine crunched up and was so yummy, we added extra "Old Bay" as only a true Marylander would do. That is the only change I made. Other then that, followed this to a "tee". The cayenne pepper was right on, and other then a hit of lemon and a dab and a dip of cocktail sauce these babies were gone really, really fast. Good thing I prepared some brown rice pilaf to keep the hunger mongers down. Thanks MsSally ~ this is a true winner here! Made for Healthy Choices tag game, May 2008.

Great recipe for a un-fried fried shrimp! I used one egg in place of the egg substitute, which worked fine. Cooked up quickly and these were great with a nice spicy cocktail sauce!

Just a tidbit for those wanting to lose weight. You can make this even healthier by using homemade whole wheat bread crumbs (stale ww bread). People with insulin resistance and Syndrome X can't metabolize carbs and sugar like other people can, so using "complex" carbs helps to maintain sugar levels and your weight!

I used also 1 egg instead of egg substitute. I had to use almost 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs. The taste was great with the spices. Under the shrimps it was not crispy. Next time, I would cook them on a rack to let them be crispy under also. Thanks MsSally. Made for Zaar Star Game
