This was to die for! This recipe produces an excellent spicy chicken wrap. I did make these a bit healthier tho by baking the chicken then tossing in the hot sauce. I had some leftovers on baked nacho chips today which was very good as well!

Um.... Buffalo's have wings? this is a European take on a type of recipe that is totally new to me... and YUM! Apologies in advance to any buffalo wing purists but I did need to make a few substitutions, namely: my celery was looking terminally ill so I subbed some baby asparagus stems that I pan fried for 1 minute in 1 teaspoon olive oil, no Frank's hot sauce here in the Netherlands, so I blended some tomatoes and added a very decent splash of tabasco sauce. When putting this together I grated both the carrot and the cuccumber and laid them on the lettuce leaves and after I topped the lot with the rest of the ingredients and taken the photo, I rolled them up into a roll and YUM! Ok maybe I rearranged the recipe from the "norm" somewhat, but I guess that these wings DID take off somewhat for us! We liked them ... please see my rating system: 4 excellent stars for a very tasty recipe that we will have pleasure in making again. Sorry if we didn't make it the most traditional way... maybe it would be fair to say that for this recipe we tried our best and "winged it ". Thanks!

I made this recipe exactly as written with no deviations. This was a very tasty recipe, indeed. The hublet hates to get anything on his hands, but adores hot wings. He also loved the fact that he did not have to wrestle with the bones found in your standard variety hot wings. The flavor was good with a kick, but not so much that you ran for the fire hose to cool your throat. They were easy to make and served as a fantastic appetizer before dinner last night. The next time I make these, I will make my homemade blue cheese ranch dressing for dipping and will cook the chicken in the oven to avoid the frying oil.
