Yummmmy! Now this is one for the recipe books - If we had a recipe book for all those people who want to look like they can cook or bake and think they can not — tkae heart this here is one of those recipes for you!!!! Every one will ask you for the recipe — how's that for a change from being the one who brings in the store bought treats.... hmmmm...oh and it should definitely go in the recipe book labeled — I want to look like I worked so hard to lay out a delicious spread (if they only knew the truth.... ok that title might be too long but this is one of those quick easys that make it look like you really had to try harder than you did. How great is that???? Don't we all love those. Did I say yummmmy yet???? I am still eating them...Hardest part of this recipe was waiting for them to set in the refrigerator!!! Oh this would be good for those of us that want to look like we are using some of the good old "like my grandma use to make" recipes too — and it doesn't get much easier or yummier.

I've made this several times, using different kinds of nuts, and it is always a big hit. I find it best to store it in the freezer, the chill adds a little more crunch, plus it makes it more of a "chore" to get some, so you don't eat it as fast and it lasts longer (sometimes!!)!

Really super yummy! They lose their crunch and get soggy fast though so eat em real quick or store em in a very airtight container.

Quick, easy and tasty. Reminds me of chocolate covered toffee. I halved the recipe and put it in a 9 x 13 pyrex. (used 15 saltines -they fit well and half of everything else). Put sliced almonds on the top. Yummy!
