I got this recipe from Ursula, a German born Woman. A good friend of my Wife and I.

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

    Saute onions in butter.

    add cut up cabbage and vinegar.
  3. 3
    cover and simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes.

    add just enough sugar to make it sweet and sour tasting.

    add apples and reheat.
