Yummy Cheesy Corn

I know this may seem silly to post this simple recipe, but this corn is soooooo good! I make this at least once a week with a meal and my hubby only likes this kind of corn. Plain corn has gone out the window. This is so easy and yummy. Anyone could make it in a jiffy!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans corn
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or as much as you like!)

Directions

  1. 1
    Melt butter in medium skillet and add corn.
  2. 2
    Add salt and pepper and fry for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3
    Add the cheese and stir until it's nice a melted.
  4. 4
    Serve immediately!

    Ohhhh -- it's soooo good!

I used mozzeralla and liked the corn this way. My kids, however, didn't like it at all.

    I'm sorry I haven't reviewed this yet. I have been making this for ages now. I love this stuff, and my husband loves it as well! It's easy and good and I could eat it just about every day! Thanks!

    So easy, but so good! Kiddies loved it, as did hubby and I! I used finely shredded cheddar and had no problems with lumps, as I stirred it as it was melting. yum! Thanks, Sarah, for something different to do with corn!

    Any food called "Cheesy" is pretty much a guaranteed hit with me. But the fact that the rest of the family loved it so much was a surprise. The kids tend to like plain veggies with nothing added. But they gobbled this up. I actually made a half recipe and used fresh corn that had been boiled that I cut off the cobs. A nice addition to dinner. Thanks Sarah!
