SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Snap beans in half and rinse (cut off ends).

    Fry together the garlic, onion, and bacon.
  3. 3
    When golden brown, pour away some of bacon grease (or freeze the grease for making dog biscuits!).

    Pour fried onion, garlic, and bacon (plus some grease) into large pot.

    Add snapped green beans.
  6. 6
    Cover with water and simmer until tender.
