I liked this because it is fast and easy to make and the kids really liked it. Is the beef was browning I cooked the pasta for 5 minutes. Then I added it to the rest of the mixture and along with 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water. As it simmered I would add more water if needed. The onions and gr pepper was still had a nice little crunch to them when we ate it. I'll make this again, thank you for posting it. We enjoyed this but thought it was missing some seasoning- just not sure what. I did add garlic powder, salt and pepper but it still seemed like it was missing something. This was very easy to make and the kids ate it up. I followed the recipe as written other then I used red peppers as that is what I had. I liked that you didn't have to cook the macaroni in another pan. I love having only one pan to clean

Made this for dinner tonight and it was well recieved by everyone. I left out the green pepper. My 7 year old asked for it again. I doubled the macaroni with no problem just added a little more water. Served with parmesan cheese at the table. Thanks for posting this yummy easy recipe.

Really good, fast ans easy! My family devoured this - I made as directed with the following exceptions: I used ground turkey breast (because we prefer that to beef) and I probably added slightly more green pepper and onion than called for. I also added a little bit of garlic powder, black pepper and oregano to it for flavor, but to suit our tastes. Perfect quick weekday meal - anytime really! Thanks for posting a great recipe! I was coming down with a cold today and wasn't feeling like cooking - this really came through for me - and the family LOVED it!! **Made for January Beverage Tag 2008**
