Directions

  1. 1
Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray 12-inch pizza pan or 13x9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Unroll dough; place in sprayed pan. Starting at center, press out dough to edge of pan. Bake at 425 degrees F for 7 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
  2. 2
Meanwhile, cook ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Add barbecue sauce, chili powder, salt, cumin and apple pie spice; mix well. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. 3
Remove crust from oven. Spread ground beef mixture over partially baked crust. Top with beans, onion and cheese.
  4. 4
Return to oven; bake an additional 11 to 14 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown.

In step 3 it says Top with beans, onion and cheese. But there's no beans listed in the ingredients. So were the beans left out of the ingredient list or was that just a mistake in step 3?

What an interesting pizza! The mixture of cumin and apple pie spice gave it such a diffrent, but good flavor. I used a low fat whole wheat home made pizza dough, lean gorund turkey, and low cal BBQ to attempt to lighten this up a tad. Great twist on your average pizza!
