Delicious! My only substitution was apple juice for the orange juice, because that's all I had on hand. We put a splash of milk in the bowl with the liquid when we served them. This was my first time ever making apple dumplings and I was very pleased with the result. Simple and delicious. Thanks for posting!

Couldn't resist making this one, as we love apples around here and this was so easy to make. Loved everything about this recipe! I took Paula's advice and used brown sugar instead of plain sugar and they were awesome! Had with a huge scoop of Vanilla bean ice cream for one heck of a yummy dessert! Into my keeper file this one goes!

A super quick and easy way to make apple dumplings. Great taste and less work, I love it! These didn't last the day, everyone made a grab for them. I made as directed, but next time, I think I will add some brown sugar too. I know I will be making this a lot. But looks like I will have to double it. Thanks Seasoned Cook for sharing.
