I know it is not the time of year for BBQing but I had my niece over last night and she loves her hamburgers, so I made beef and chicken burgers.

6 -8 patties (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.
  2. 2
Shape into patties, it will make 6 large burgers and about 8 smaller ones.
  3. 3
Heat a small amount of oil in a pan and cook until well browned on each side and meat is cooked through.
  4. 4
Serve on buns with your favourite condiments.

These were very tasty burger and we enjoyed them for dinner. DH cooked them on the grill and I made as directed except I did add salt and pepper and I was generous with the garlic. DH thought they tasted like meatloaf. Made for Aus Recipe Swap #21. Thanks Flying Chef for another delicious meal. We really enjoy your recipes.

I agree - these are delicious burgers! Can't wait to make them again. Too cool and windy when I made them to BBQ - but will grill next time around. Planning to make some up and freeze the patties for those spur of the moment grill times. They should freeze well. This combination of ingredients and seasonings makes for a wonderful new to us burger. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, these are delicious! They were easy to make as I just added and pulsed them in a processor and used dried bread crumbs but not panko. I also had twice the yield since I made it thinner while flattening it with palms but when fried it puffed up a bit which is great. The combination of the Italian Herb Mix and rest of ingredients meshed well that the patties were so tasty that I ate them as is Thanks for posting this, Flying Chef! Made for Recipe Swap #17.
