Very good recipe, some of my kids even liked it. I didn't have shallots on hand, so I substituted plain old diced onion and added in a little garlic salt at the end.

This was good but I did change it up a bit. I used garlic instead of shallots and added a bit more beef broth. This was very easy to make and my family enjoyed them.

Thank you for a great veggie recipe that my kids like. (they are hard to find...lol) I too used fresh basil but other than that i didn't change a thing. We loved this simple yet tasy recipe. Thank you so much for the keeper.....Stephanie

I reduced the oil and cooked my peas for slightly less time. I loved the crisp crunch and fresh pea flavor. The shallots and basil were excellent complements.
