I was a little worried as my hubby is a burger purist. Not only did I think they were delicious he said they were too. I used a higher fat ground beef and grilled them on the gas grill. They wanted to fall apart at first but I left them alone and once they cooked abit they were fine. I will make these again. They were just different enough to be .... well...different. Not your average grilled burger. Only change I made...I didn't have chili sauce so I made my own with 1/4 cup of ketchup and added minced garlic and horseradish to taste. They still worked!

This recipe is delicious although for some reason my burgers fell apart, and I ended up putting it all in a frying pan to make sloppy joes. It was very tasty but I'm trying to figure out what happened because the only changes I made to this recipe were to use matzoh (crumbled and not moistened) instead of corn flakes and to use 1/2 c bbq sauce and no chili sauce. It was very tasty and my kids really enjoyed it so I'm sure I'll try it again and hope the burgers stay together.

These burgers are great. We cooked them over charcoal. I added 1 T horseradish and used a smoky flavored barbecue sauce. They were a big hit! Thanks Kym, I will keep the recipe handy!

This is the best recipe I've found. Simple, with easy to find ingredients. Don't go too low fat with the meat though. Just like everyone else says, they'll fall apart.
