A yummy German dish

SERVES 4 , 8 filled sausages (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Slit sausages or frankfurters lenghthwise, cutting almost to ends & only 3/4 of the way through.
  2. 2
    Combine sauerkraut, chili sauce, onion, & caraway seed.
  3. 3
    Stuff about 2 TABLESPOONS of the mixture into the slit of each sausage or frankfurter.
  4. 4
    Secure with wooden picks.
  5. 5
    Grill over HOT COALS for 10-12 minutes, turning frequently.
  6. 6
    Remove picks.
  7. 7
    Serve in frankfurter buns if desired.
