I really liked the flavor of this a lot but the texture of the biscuits wasn't quite as appealing. Next time I will experiment with the ratio of soup to biscuits & maybe use a larger pan and more biscuits but keep the soup amount the same. I think having the biscuits exposed some so they can get browned a little would work better for me. I did add some black pepper to the soup mixture and would like to try adding some spicyness with hot sauce or nacho cheese soup instead of plain cheese soup. Thanks for the recipe!

OK, when you can get my sister, who abhors using canned soup in a recipe, to give this 5 stars, it is event worthy. This is so simple to make, but I did carmelizse the onions before mixing together. Thnx for posting, Rubies. This will go into my cookbook right away.

this was simple and delicious. I have made it twice. My picky hubby doesn't like onions so I substituted onion powder the second time. I gave the recipe to my mom and it is a staple dish in her house now.

Very quick meal for those evenings when you don't have much time to spend in the kitchen. The biscuits had the consistency of soft, fluffy dumplings. The onions were crisp (which I liked). If you prefer softer onions, I would saute them before adding to the soup mixture. I added some salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash's Hot and Spicy seasoning to the soup mixture. Overall, a very satisfying meal. Made for PAC Spring, 2008.
