This one is aimed right for your meat and potato eaters. Sometimes you just need something easy without worrying about whether the recipe would ever grace the pages of a cooking magazine. This was easy, and it pleased everyone. That made it a winner for me.

This was very easy to make. It did not look good when I was putting it together, but after it was finished baking it was very delicious! My husband was looking at it like he didn't want it, but he was very impressed at how good it tasted. Thanks to all the reviewers who gave tips on adding the garlic, salt and pepper - I added it all to the ground beef and used the Crowns instead of the tots, as someone else had suggested and we loved it! I will be making again! Thanks for sharing!

Surprisingly delicious! I wasn't too sure what to expect from this simple recipe but the result was tasty, filling, yummy! I added a teaspoon of garlic salt to the meat, 2 stalks of chopped celery to the chopped onion (which I sauteed in olive oil) and I added a few spoonfuls of milk to the soup. I baked the whole shibang in my 9X9 square Pyrex baking dish and it came out perfect!. We'll definately make this again.

I love this casserole, I make it with cream of mushroom soup and don't put shredded cheese on mine, but other that that it is pretty much the same. My grandmother used to make it when I was little. I made it for my husband recently and he looked at it wierd at first but once he tried it he loved it!
