Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Pour Kahlua & Vodka in a glass.
  2. 2

When I was a bartender, we made these in a tall, narrow collins glass filled with ice, so there really was not much more alcohol than an average mixed shot. Patrons would down them in one long haul through the straw in order for the soda chaser to cut the sweetness. The thing about them is that the drink looks really cool in the glass with the dark and light layers, and if you like this type of drink, look up "chocolate cake shots" with Citron vodka and Frangelico. MMMMM...Tasty. don't forget the lemon wedge dipped in Raw sugar to garnish

I used an old fashion glass and added equal parts of Kahlua, Ketel One and Club Soda. Didn't use the straw but it was wonderful anyway. This is a nice twist on a Black Russian. The Club Soda cuts back on the sticky sweetness of the Kahlua just enough. Feel free to sip if you prefer. I should have reviewed this yesterday but it took a bit longer too undo the "erasing" effect !
