Non Petroleum Baby Jelly

Recipe #269495 | 30 min | 10 min prep | add private note

By: Abby Girl
Dec 3, 2007

A safer alternative for those people who feel that petroleum jelly is a must! This can be cut in half

500 gm batch (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Melt beeswax in a large saucepan over the stove.
  2. 2
Whisk the castor oil and vitamin E to create a jelly type consistency. I use a stick blender.
  3. 3
    Package into cosmetic jars.
  4. 4
Keep in mind, the Vitamin E works as a preservative, but this does have a shelf life. I would discontinue to use if the product smells "off".
