Pumpkin Bread

This is a recipe of my Grandmothers. I made it for the first time yesterday and it is delicious.

Ingredients

  • teaspoon clove
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • teaspoon cinnamon
  • teaspoon nutmeg
  • cups sugar
  • cup oil
  • 2 egg
  • 2/3 cup water
  • cups pumpkin
  • Directions

      Combine all dry ingredients and mix. Then mix all the wet ingredients. Combine the two. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
