This one's a keeper! To save time, I substituted packaged bacon bits and green onions (no need to saute), and it came out really good. Great flavor, thanks for sharing.

This is a good dish-similar to one I use hash browns with. I used ham as I didn't have any bacon so will try it again with the bacon. I will use less cheese next time, this seemed a bit greasy with 1 1/2 cups. Could be just my cheese tho. Good basic recipe, I will have fun trying different additions. Thanks Nurse Di

The BEST!!! The only way to make scalloped potatoes as far as we are concerned. Deserves more than 5-stars. This produced a sumptuous creamy cheese sauce and the bacon-onion add WOW for flavor. The potatoes turned out very tender. Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe.

This was awesome!! I posted a picture of it prior to cooking. Only thing I did wrong was cook it in a smaller, deeper casserole dish. Takes too long to cook, next time I have to use 13 x 9 that was suggested.
