Vanilla ice cream with malted milk, chocolate, caramel sauce and crushed malt balls. What could be better than this. From Bon Appetit, September 2007

SERVES 2 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Coarsely crush as many malted milk balls as you would like for topping.
  2. 2
    Combine first 4 ingredients and 1 Tablespoon caramel sauce in blender; process on high speed until thick and smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. 3
    Squirt chocolate syrup and caramel sauce into glasses.
  4. 4
    Pour in mixture and top with malted milk balls.

    made over the holidays, this was even better than I ever expected it to be, I had malted milk balls left over from Halloween, so I chopped them and sprinkled on top, and even added some into the blender, my DS and DH were in "Milky Way" heaven, thanks Mary!...Kitten

    The malted milk balls dont show up in the ingredients - This is so much better than a milky way. YUM!!

    Absolutely delicious! The caramel and chocolate syrup on the inside of the glass really puts this over the top! Thanks for posting this...I'm thinking of doing a variation of this at our ice cream parlor
