Hot Cranberry Tea

My family always makes this at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Super easy but very tasty!

Ingredients

  • cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cinnamon stick
  • cup orange juice
  • cups cranberry juice
  • teaspoons lemon juice
  • cups water
  • Directions

    1. 1
      In a large pan, cook water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks over medium heat for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients.
    2. 2
      Simmer 30 minutes and serve hot. Can be refrigerated, but remove cinnamon sticks first.

    Oh this is GOOD! I may try it with slightly less sugar the next time since I like tart and this is quite (but not too) sweet. I certainly will make it again. It'll be terrific cold in the summer too.

    This is fantastic! I loved it. Of course I had to since I love cranberry juice more than any other kind. It went well with the orange juice, too. I used dried cinnamon instead, because I already had it on hand.

    so i made this due to a tag game on accident, but i couldnt be happier because it was sooooo tasty! this tea really hit the spot and would definately be perfect for the holidays or on a cold night! thanks 4 the great recipe shelby jo!
